News: After months of fan speculation and adorable photoshoots, it's been officially confirmed that CBS' Supergirl TV series will cross over with the CW's The Flash.  This expands the tally of DC's Arrowverse shared multiverse to five series across three networks and two media: CW's Arrow, The Flash, and new team spinoff Legends of Tomorrow; CW Seed animated series Vixenrenewed for a second miniseries and soon to cross into live action on Arrow; CBS series Supergirl; and cancelled NBC series Constantine.

News: Egyptian cartoonist Islam Gawish was released from custody on Monday, and apparently will face no further charges.  Gawish’s arrest Sunday during a raid on the website Egypt News Network caused a swift backlash, with the Arab Network for Human Rights and the Strong Egypt Party issuing statements defending him, and cartoonists and others tweeting in support of him using his name as a hashtag.
